As reported on SN's blog (
full article), Lenovo will sell some of its laptops equipped with SUSE Linux Enterprise Edition, specifically the ThinkPad T61 and R61. Ok, it’s a good news... But even if SLED 10 has a comprehensive and excellent support, it is not free (as in beer). Because of this, the final price of the Linux version of ThinkPads will be lowered only of about $20 compared with the Windows version. I don't think that's a good idea...why not Ubuntu?
